David Letterman rips John McCain for skipping show, Video. Letterman is very angry. He rips on him and then he takes a turn with Palin. He thinks somebody is putting something in Metamucil. 
He does this for 9 minutes.
Then to top it all off, Olbermann is on the show. This does not look good for McCain. Then to top off all of that, Letterman finds out that he was dissed so McCain could be on with Katie Couric. This is funny stuff.

I really think this tactic is going to hurt McCain. What would it have cost him to do this show and then go to Washington afterwards? It smacks of fear. We need to seem him look and act presidential and we need to see him put the smack down on Obama in a debate before the other side starts gaining momentum. Any ground lost now will be twice as hard to make up for later.
